Thought I'd do a little bragging about my baby.
So, today is the 9 month mark for Emmaus.
He likes to talk ...in the mornings mostly. He can say Door,Open, Mom, Dad, Ball, Book...(...something that sounds like Bob...but we aren't sure what that is yet.) Sometimes he says things clearly, other times...like all babies..it's like..huh?
He gives high 5's
He gives us kisses
He has learned how to stand on his own. It's neat to watch him get his balance.
He's wearing 12 month clothes...for the most part.
He eats everything we put in front of him...unless he doesn't like the texture of the peel...like pear for example. He manages to work just that part out of his mouth with his tongue.
He's had a runny nose for the past 2 weeks..I think he should have a tooth or two popping through soon, but not sure. Current count: 2
He's a lot more clingy now that he used to be. It's sometimes nice...sometimes harder to do things at the house with him in our arms.
He's a bundle of joy that loves being around people and other kids.
He likes to stand up by pulling up on anything...including other little kids.
Yesterday he pulled himself up off the ground by grabbing the kitchen table...I was right there with him..but that was a little scary. I think it scared him too. Jake said his eyes got real big.
We'll find out his weight and height at the doctor's visit on Friday.
He still has really fuzzy light colored hair...in the bath, when his hair is wet, it looks dark red....
He's a bit on the skinny side, but we feed him all the time...high metabolism?....hope so.
He's been playing hide and seek with us. We hide under a blanket and say "Emmaus" and he crawls to the room we're hiding in and starts giggling once he's found where we are.
He is pure joy...most of the time.
He sleeps about 12-13 hours a night...give or take waking up around 522am the past 2 mornings for a diaper change and a morning snack...then back to bed for about 3 hours. Hopefully that will not continue...either way, no worries.
He drools like a mad man
He loves opening and closing doors and drawers
He looks a lot like both Jake and me.
He's started picking things up with his pincher fingers
(I'm trying to think of any and everything that you out of towners aren't privy to.)
We'll that's a fairly exhausted list for now...If there is anything that you have questions about...I'm not opposed to adding to this later.

So cute, he's growing up so fast! Micaiah is in 12 month clothing too, but slowly working his way up ;)
